Floating Docks

The floating dock in downtown Grand Forks is designed for launching non-motorized watercraft on a steady footing. The dock features a transfer platform for safe, easy, stable access to and from the water. The ADA-accessible floating launch dock and gangway allow paddlers of all ages and abilities to access the water safely.

The dock is located just north of DeMers Avenue. Just take River Road to the parking lot at the bottom of the hill, park your car, and take a short walk down the path to the dock. Click here for a map to the dock.
Need a canoe or kayak? Our friends with Ground Up Adventures have equipment available for rent at the boathouse located in the parking lot. Visit their website for hours of operation.

Funding for the dock was provided by the ND Outdoor Heritage Fund and the city of Grand Forks.
